Video Production
For: AT&T Cultural Frameworks
Date: 2022
Demonstrated Skills: Directing, Project Management, Production Management
THE CHALLENGE
Three business days (Th-M), before the launch of cultural communications, the existing cultural frameworks video had an update request to be less corporate and more unique.
The audience for this video was both L3+ managers and frontline employees.
No script was written. No outlined budget upon the request.
THE SOLUTION
Immediately hosted a brainstorming session with a media production manager and training designer to ideate a concept to meet a wide range of audiences.
Wrote the script with the similar verbiage from the corporate video, but tailored to be delivered by kid talent for a visually unique and memorable impact.
Because of good relations with the Media Production team, the MPM connected us with his associate director who scheduled a shoot date for the following Monday with a videographer.
I submitted a budget request after identifying the necessary props to ensure quality video development.
Prepare the shot list and bought props for the shoot.
Met with the videographer and kid talent on site to direct the shoot.
THE RESULTS
A highly visible cultural frameworks video that was also highly praised.
This video was launched across AT&T globally and is hosted on their culture hub site.
WHAT THE FINAL PRODUCT LOOKS LIKE
Script Writing
The audience for this video was both front-line employees and upper management. I wrote this script to engage and meet the needs of both audiences.
Shot List
Because the star of this video shoot was a child with costume changes, the shot list was organized based on hairstyle and props/location. This ensured consistent costume and hairstyles for every character shot and quicker video shoots to lessen the risk of a child losing their excitement and energy.
Props and Budgets
Once receiving budget-approval, the props seen in these shots were compiled and purchased. The video was shot at an AT&T location.
Tools used: Microsoft Word, Premiere Pro
